"TEI understand our business and recommend appropriate engineering solutions." -Neil Browne - Dominion SaltPreventative Maintainance paragraph
Preventative maintenance reduces the overall cost of ownership of your equipment and helps provide safe, reliable operation.
The best and easiest way to ensure your machinery keeps running is to acquire Professional ongoing Preventative Maintenance services from a specialist organisation with a successful track record. Don't waste your valuable engineer's time on maintenance. Keep them on the high value jobs whilst we do the maintenance tasks for you.

Routine inspection, lubrication and adjustment of operating mechanisms extend the operational life of critical components and prevents costly unplanned shutdowns and down time during production.

TEI have specialist maintenance management systems and staff to ensure all the hassle is taken out of your maintenance requirements.

TEI also have the capacity to use Specialized Selective Brush plating. This process used to build up or repair metal surfaces can be carried out on site saving strip down time on some of the components.

Our Team is committed to bringing the highest quality service and the quickest response times available.

"A maintenance programme should not only reflect the Engineering requirements, but also the specific needs of the client"

The Maintenance Programme would consist of oiling, greasing and checking all parts of the plant if needed. This would be carried out on a set day of each week or month. The visual check for welding, loose bolts etc would be carried out at this time. Bearings would be checked for noise levels and obvious failures. Belts, chains, sprockets would also be inspected for wear.
Preventative Maintainance paragraph3 The whole Programme would be set up to suit your company with input from your own plant engineer or the management team. An audit is performed which forms the basis of the checklist for each individual machine and will be checked against by TEI's engineer upon each visit. After each inspection a report will need to be signed off by your company's representative and at this point any recommendations TEI feels necessary to ensure continued operation of the plant will be brought to your representative's attention.
Should the fault be an engineering issue TEI's comprehensive workshop can be called upon to ensure the problem is rectified as soon as possible.

TEI have a huge amount of experience in the Service and Maintenance fields and have dedicated Engineers to service these areas. Some of the current Programmes which have been put into operation have included entire shutdowns which operate on a yearly basis.
Shutdowns are controlled by TEI with the cooperation from the top suppliers holding stock of equipment and bearings etc, thus saving time on delivery.
When you instruct TEI you get a full team of experts to carry out your engineering services saving you the hassle of using other companies. TEI have a large contractor support ensuring that we can call upon engineers across the complete engineering spectrum.
