Safety Procedures For Plating Solutions
All Operators Must Read Safety Data Sheets Before Proceeding
- Eye Protection - Safety Glasses or Full Face Mask Must be used at all Times.
- Respiratory Protection - Respiratory Mask to be Used at all Times
- Skin Protection - Plastic latex gloves to be Used at all Times
- Clothing Protection - Plastic Apron, Impervious Boots as Required by conditions
Emergency First Aid and In Case Of A Spill
- Isolate Hazard Area and Keep People Away
- Eliminate all sources of ignition
- Provide Maximum Ventilation
- Do not release into soil, sewers or rivers
- Wear Proper protective equipment
- Carefully mop spill and triple rinse with water into a suitable plastic container
- Dispose of into plating solutions waste drum or suitable container
- If Eye Contact - Flush eyes with clean water for 15 Minutes. Consult Doctor
- If Skin Contact - Flush with clean water for 15 Minutes.
- Inhalation - Remove to fresh air and loosen clothing.
- Swallowed : Do Not induce vomiting, drink quantities water or milk. Consult Doctor
- (GOLD ONLY) Swallowed - Induce vomiting, drink quantities water. Consult Doctor
Wash Hands After Use - Eating or Drinking is Not Permitted in Plating Area's.
